RPA Intention to conduct 24/7 Tunnelling & Works on Metro North
Following comments by Frank Allen (CEO of the RPA) in relation to 24/7 tunnelling and works for Metro North, made during an interview on "The Right Hook" radio show on Newstalk 106 (broadcast on 16/04/08) - the RPA have confirmed to RfR that they will be applying for permission to conduct 24/7 tunnelling and works as part of their application for the railway order.
We have asked our public representatives to seek clarification of the above and the impact this would have on our community.
We have also asked our public representatives to clearly state their position in relation to 24/7 tunnelling and works.
